My ornament from Ronel

Here is the pretty sparkly ornament that Ronel mailed to me - gorgeous, isn't it? And she also stitched up a little matching fabric bag for me to store it in!

Thank you Ronel - we hope to buy our tree soon (they are not at the lot where we buy them yet), and then I cannot wait to put it on display!

Ornament Arrived!

I received the sweetest little redwork ornament from Goldie this week - I will take a photo at the weekend when I have more chance of being home during daylight hours.

Ornament from Nic!

I received a package from Nic today and in it was this wonderful pinkeep finished ornament from Nic. I recognize the pattern, I think it must be from one of the Just Cross Stitch Ornament Magazines, but I haven't quite placed it yet. I'll update later once I figure it out. Thank you Nic!

I worked late yesterday and will again tonight, but I am hoping for a chance to get home before dark tomorrow so I can try to get a good photo to share. I will make sure to post a photo as soon as possible.

My ornament from Hazel

I received the most wonderful mail today - Hazel stitched the BBD ornament from the JCS ornament issue, and I just love it! This is one of my favorite designers, and the colors are beautiful. This came at the perfect time, since I plan to put up my tree on Friday, and I will be able to spotlight this!

I received this little gem from Nancy K (no blog) in the mail today. Is is not the cutest little stocking? It's from one of my designers, Blackbird Designs. It is beautifully stitched and finished. Thank you so much, Nancy. I have it hanging already.

All Ornaments Have Been Sent

I'm sorry to say that mine was the last to go in the mail; it was rather crazy at work this week and I just couldn't get to the post office when planned. But it's in the mail now! Everyone else has sent, so now we're just waiting for the remaining packages to arrive at their destinations!

Strawberry Christmas Ornament

My Christmas Ornament arrived safely from Marie. Just look at it! This amazing Strawberry. Already it is hanging on the door of my cabinet where I intend to enjoy it all year round - not just Christmas. Thank you very very much Marie.

Two exchanges received

This week I received my Fall and Christmas ornament exchanges:

First I received this biscornu from Gaby. I just love the large size of this biscornu.

She also included these goodies, a wonderfully knitted pair of socks, which fit perfectly, a beaded necklace and a pattern along with some gummies. Thank you Gaby for a great exchange.

I had forgotten to put this pumpkin in my exchange picture from Gaby. Simon, Gaby's son made my this cute little pumpkin. Thank you Simon.

Today I received this little beauty from Vonna for the Christmas ornament exchange. She stitched a Prairie Schooler design from the book "Songs of the Season". Vonna stitched this design over one on 25 count. I just love this ornament, it is stitched and finished wonderfully. Thank you Vonna, it's a nice addition to my stitched Christmas ornaments.

I just opened a big square box and inside was the most DELIGHTFUL ornament from Margaret!
I will post a picture of it soon, but it is raining here and the pictures totally STINK! I want to get a really good picture of it because it is perfect!

Fall Exchange from Jill to Moni

All of this fine fall-things Jill have sent, I like very much. The brown towel looks very pretty in my kitchen. And the fabric, thread, buttons etc. first I add into my stash. I'm sure sometimes it will do a good use :-) . Most of all I like the little etui with the cute fall motives on it she made for me. I have decoratet it between my other fall decoration on my cupboard in the dining room. It looks very pretty.

Fall Exchange from Moni

I received my fall exchange from Moni. What a wonderful package!


This acorn is a Prairie Schooler Design. It is wonderful!

She also sent me a very generous piece of some beautiful linen, a pack of variegated flosses, a small container (great for beads or buttons), Hedgehog buttons--a family of them, a keychain with an owl on it which she made at a workshop at her local quilt store, a great pattern (how did she know I wanted one of these designs?), all of the felt decorations in the picture and the fabric in the background.

What a pretty one it is!! Joan stitched me a freebie design (designer unknown) that she stitched using DMC variegated floss 4210. I love the finish as well.
